Press

… Because sometimes marching to the beat of a different drummer does draw attention.

In this case, what many loyal Thrifty Vintage Chicsters already know, the press is just now finding out — that Robin Wallace has a style that’s not just unique, but universal in lessons of life, frugality and green living.

Hi Robin, wow you have some energy…I’m envious lol. I found your link on OLL when you just purchased that gorgeous peach lace 30/40s gown. I came to your page to check it out and I am glad I did. So much great information but so little time right now for me to read much. I finally have a chance to bring my dream into reality. I have been collecting vintage for years, primarily to wear, but my collection has become out of hand, and so i had to get a storage facility. And the other little fact that I hate to admit I have the middle age spread starting, and vintage waists are tiny! I am in the process of setting up a website to sell. Just doing the inventory and photographs willl be time consuming, measurements etc. I will just start with maybe a 100 garments and add on after that. I try to thrift at least once a week for a whole day. It’s work and my arm is quite weary afterwards 😊 but I love it. I do personal shopping for a few clients along the way. If you are interested to see the website I can let you know when it’s up. V.I.P.clothing acronym for VintageInthePresent.com.

I hope to hear from you,
    Regards Renee
